Welcome to my RESEARCH page! In
treasure hunting it is common knowledge that research is usually about 95% of
the work involved in being successful. On this research page I have listed
about 19,000 magazine articles that appeared in over 20 different
treasure-type magazines from 1960 to 1995. If I printed this INDEX it would
exceed 400 pages ! By the end of the year I will have added the years 1995 to
2003.
This INDEX lists treasures from all countries and all 50 states. To locate
magazine articles, simply scroll down to the state you are interested in and
then continue scrolling through the list of articles that have appeared in
print about that state. Each state has the articles categorized by type of
treasure: caches, lost mines, etc.
After you have located articles that are of interest, you can go about trying
to locate that article. Try your local library. They should be able to
locate it through their inter-library loan system. You can also try
contacting the archives department of the magazine that the article appeared
in.

I have about 4,000 of the older treasure-type magazines and I probably have
about 90% of the articles listed in this INDEX.
This INDEX is a great research tool for the serious treasure hunter and you
can come back here, again and again, over the upcoming years for all of your
research needs. Just reading the INDEX is good entertainment. Happy
